Our “Platte to Park Hill” project is a combination of four smaller projects which LCS is developing alongside the City of Denver and our collaborative partners DHM Design and Matrix Design Group, all aimed at setting Denver up for a successful future in natural water management. Planning work has been underway on this series of projects since 2016, with each entailing a high level of community engagement and sophisticated engineering study.

The highly strategic urban project has been featured this month in WaterWorld Magazine, an online news and technology source serving engineers, managers, and consultants in the Water/Wastewater Industry Worldwide. The five-page feature tells the story of all four projects involved, highlighting the green infrastructure aspect, challenges addressed during planning and construction, and lasting benefits for the communities. There are several photos and renderings also spread throughout the piece. You can read the piece here and learn a great deal about this important undertaking and its impact on the future of some of Denver’s most populous neighborhoods.
