The Roxborough Village Parks, Open Space, and Recreation Master Plan serves as the guiding document that outlines a vision for the open space, parks and other areas within the community. However, the project evolved into a broader communication effort to increase community participation, transparency, and ongoing involvement in the community.
The Master Plan outlines four major themes—Enhance, Connect, Reinvigorate, and Implement—which build on the existing character of Roxborough Village while setting a course for the future. Livable Cities Studio created as an online living document and an engaging interactive web platform for the community can stay actively involved. The web-based platform allows residents stay informed and monitor progress as the plan transitions from vision to implementation.
