
We’re proud to announce that Chelsea Gieryic, AICP officially stepped into her new leadership role as President of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) Colorado-Wyoming chapter!
ASLA Colorado-Wyoming champions the advancement of landscape architecture through advocacy, education, and connection, values Chelsea embodies in both her professional practice and leadership. As an Associate Planner and Landscape Designer at Livable Cities Studio, she’s dedicated to using design as a tool for building equitable, resilient communities that bring people together and celebrate place.
Chelsea has been an active leader within ASLA for years, helping shape programs, events, and initiatives that foster collaboration across the profession. From leading statewide award celebrations to mentoring emerging professionals, her work reflects a deep belief in the strength of community and the importance of elevating diverse perspectives within landscape architecture.
Recognized as ASLA CO/WY’s Volunteer of the Year in both 2023 and 2024, Chelsea brings a spirit of energy, empathy, and vision to everything she does. As President, she’s focused on continuing to grow the chapter as a platform for advocacy, mentorship, and meaningful connection across the region. Reflecting on her new role, Chelsea shared:
