Livable Cities Studio is a mission-driven urban design, planning, and landscape architecture studio based in Denver, CO. Our work revolves around people and design with a social and environmental purpose, emphasizing the new and expanded roles of infrastructure, as a city-shaping agent, and the public realm in creating livable cities.

Proposal and Project Coordinator

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented person with a minimum of 4 years of experience to support our proposal, communications, marketing, and various project efforts. Our ideal applicant loves engaging with people, taking on a variety of tasks, and is an excellent communicator. The role is focused on proposal development, marketing, basic graphic design, and the development of other content that supports the studio. The majority of the work will be on proposal development and other marketing efforts with some support on office projects. You will work under the direction of senior leadership.

What We Are Looking For:

Proposal Coordination and Communications

  • Coordinates and develops the structure and design of proposal systems and procedures
  • Manages the creation and development of proposal content including text and graphics
  • Leads the graphic development and production of all proposals, collateral and marketing deliverables
  • Reviews and adjusts proposals as necessary to ensure accurate and efficient submissions
  • Coordinates proposal and bid documents and prepares proposal materials
  • Manages and maintains proposal databases to ensure accurate and updated data
  • Analyzes and interprets Requests for Proposals, Requests for Information, and Requests for Qualifications
  • Provide copy editing, proofreading, and final reviews for proposals and other client marketing collateral
  • Assists team in tracking identified BD leads and as needed support/follow-up in pursuit
  • Supports firm leadership on a variety of marketing efforts
  • Creates content and manages social media accounts
  • Leads internal meetings to support marketing efforts
  • Coordinates incremental website updates (additional projects, new hires etc.)

Office Coordination

  • Manages job applications and follow up with candidates as needed
  • Supports on-boarding of new hires
  • Serves as support for design team
  • Maintains an organized office space, order office supplies, and run occasional errands

Required Skills:

  • 4+ years of professional experience in marketing, graphic design, communications or related field. Experience in the AEC (architecture, engineering, design) industry is ideal
  • Knowledge and proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (primarily InDesign)
  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive attitude and willingness to take on a variety of tasks
