“The program was an awesome experience and opportunity to make relationships with a diverse group of community leaders and to support the DDP in realizing their vision for ¡Viva Streets!,” said Will.
The Leadership Program develops downtown Denver’s future leaders, educates participants about the economic importance of downtown Denver, and engages them in creating the downtown Denver of the future. The 2023 class project involved creating a series of activations during ¡Viva Streets!, a series of open streets events that transformed the public right of way and created placemaking opportunities. The class worked to ensure that the activations were engaging, accessible, inclusive, and entertaining. Congrats to Will and the DDLP class of 2023!
